Holidays! Intro to Wheel Throwing Mini Series 4 classes on Tuesday nights Nov-Dec with Unlimited Studio Time

Need something to ground you this Holiday season? Join us for this month long class that will straddle the Thanksgiving break! Giving you an extra week of studio practice. On Tuesday nights November 19th-December 17th 6:30pm-9pm 4 class Intro. to wheel throwing. In this taste tester for pottery mini series you will be taken through the whole pottery arc including wheel throwing, altering and trimming a form in the first three classes and then glazing on the last class. We can almost guarantee you will be left wanting more clay time!

Forms that will be covered beginning with cylendars and progress to mugs and bowls. No experience necessary and all materials included. Students signed up for this class will also have access to Salish Sea ceramic studio during open studio hours. Posted weekly on google and our website, open studio practice hours are an important part of class in order to practice skills and make work. This 4 week class will zoom by like hyper drive and leave you wanting to know more. Class size of up to 10 people. This class focuses on intro to wheel throwing and in the space of a month introduce you to the basic concepts of pottery. Be warned though! It is a very quick pace to teach you everything you want to learn!

There will be no class during the week. of Thanksgiving, but the studio will still have some hours!….just in time to squeeze some clay time in before the end of year
