Curtis Yu of YuTang Ceramics

Curtis’ classical style, and attention to detail inspired Rachel to focus on her shapes and layering glaze just right. Curtis was important in getting her to teach and building her confidence.

Adrian Miller and Tim Fox at the Montlake Community Center

Both local pottery workaholics. Adrian was the first person to give her business advice and his aestheitic of colored slips, sculpture and textures colored Rachel’s work and Tim sold Rachel her first wheel. Habanero, cuz it’s spicy and has a little kick.
