Welcome to Salish Sea Ceramic Studio. Today we will be throwing a small bottle. This orange wheel is a 1970s Shimpo wheel named Habanero, becuase its spicy and has a little kick. It was the first wheel I bought from Tim Fox who teaches ceramics at the Montlake Community Center. I traded him a slug painting for it.

To make a bottle first we have to center the clay, open it and pull up walls. If you look closely you can see the rainbows on the clay from the prisms in the window.

Trulove waits patiently for her dog walk!
